What prevents companies from implementing strategic workforce planning

Personnel development in procurement

This book not only gives a structured overview of the personnel development measures used in procurement, but also inspires the use of new models. In the last few years in particular, the procurement function has grown in importance. The implementation of modern procurement strategies presents those responsible with new challenges and the lever of employees has become a decisive success factor. In a quantitative study, the authors examined the framework conditions and design options for function-specific personnel development measures. The typical problems identified are supplemented by practical recommendations and numerous best case examples from practice. Academic focus articles put the practical contributions in a theoretical frame of reference and illuminate aspects such as B. team or management development, the importance of a "global mindset" for procurement, virtual personnel development opportunities or agility concepts in more detail. A successful transfer from science to practice and worthwhile reading for professional buyers.
