30-day voluntary take-back guarantee

Regardless of your statutory rights, you can use your Kindle e-reader, Fire tablet, Amazon Fire TV device, Amazon Echo device or related Amazon brand accessories ("Amazon Devices") purchased from Amazon.de within send back to us within 30 days of receipt of the goods, provided the device or accessories are complete and in an unused and undamaged condition. Please put your Amazon device in the original packaging. Please make sure to send us the complete device with all accessories and to remove all storage media, media or other items not included in the scope of delivery. You can also return your Amazon device if the original packaging has been opened. To return, please use our online return center or contact customer service, who will help you with your return. In our return center, we will guide you step by step through the return process and you can print out our prepaid return label. Please also print out the return overview that is available there for your order and enclose it with your return. Important: To ensure that your shipment arrives safely and undamaged, please pack the shipment so that it is unbreakable and use a traceable shipping method. Please see the return details.

After the 30-day return guarantee has expired, the return of the Amazon device is no longer possible, unless the device is defective. Please see the information on the one-year limited manufacturer's warranty further down on this page. This does not affect your statutory warranty rights, which you are entitled to without restriction. More information is available here.

The return policy for products purchased from Amazon.de that are not Amazon devices (e.g. third-party Fire TV Edition devices) and the return policy for products purchased using an Amazon device can be found under About Our Return Policy.

To protect your privacy, we recommend that you remove all personal data from electrical and electronic equipment before you return the item to Amazon.de.

Return of Kindle eBooks

Amazon grants a voluntary right of return on eBooks that you have bought in the Kindle Shop, provided we receive your application within 14 days of purchasing the eBook. Once the purchase price has been refunded, the item will be removed from your customer account and can no longer be read on your Kindle e-reader or Fire device. To arrange a refund and a return, visit the My Kindle page (www.amazon.de/meinkindle), click on the "Actions" button to the right of the relevant item and then select "Return for a refund".

Alternatively, please click on the "Customer Service" field in the "Contact Us" box on the right-hand side of this page to contact us by phone or email. On the Contact Us page, indicate you have a question about an order and select the Kindle eBook that you want to cancel.

Warranty - your device is defective

After the 30-day return guarantee has expired, the online return center can no longer be used. Should you, within the statutory warranty period, e.g. For example, if you want to complain about a defect in your device, please contact customer service. Limited manufacturer warranty

When you buy an Amazon Fire TV Remote or IR Extender for Fire TV Cube independently of an Amazon Fire TV device, whether through Amazon or at retail stores, those accessories are backed by a 90-day limited warranty.
